Genital warts are Growths that appear on the Genitals. Genital warts are caused by HPV. There are different types of Genital warts. Genital warts treatment with surgery, radiation, or medication. Genital warts can be removed with surgery. Surgery can be done in a doctor's office or in a hospital. Genital warts can also be treated with radiation.

Radiation can be given in one dose or in a series of doses. Genital warts can also be treated with medication. Medication can be given as a cream, gel, lotion,or pill. Genital warts can also be removed with BCR. BCR is a procedure that uses heat to kill the Genital warts. Genital warts can also be removed with laser surgery. Laser surgery uses a laser to remove the Genital warts.

Cryotherapy

Cryotherapy is a fast and effective way to remove genital warts. It is often performed at a doctor's office. The procedure involves cutting a wart with a tiny knife and applying a freezing substance to it. This substance is usually liquid nitrogen, but may also be carbon dioxide. The treatment is considered safe for most healthy people, but patients who have health problems may benefit from another method.

The SR-T100 gel contains an extract of the Solanum undatum plant. The solution also contains carbomer, propylene glycol, and triethanolamine. Patients are instructed to apply the gel at home after the treatment. Before treatment, the warts should be accessible to the healthcare provider. Follow-up visits are crucial to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment. These follow-up visits provide a chance for questions and side effects to be addressed.

Laser ablation

The procedure is done by delivering heat through a laser beam to the affected area. This heat destroys the blood vessels and kills the wart. The laser may also damage the virus that causes the wart. After laser treatment, there may be blistering, swelling, and a crusted area, but this should heal in a few days. You may also experience pain and itchiness in the affected area. Healing can take between four and six weeks. The day after surgery, you should rest for a few days and take the prescribed pain medication. One week after the treatment, you can return to work or school.

The procedure has been used to treat genital warts in patients with a high degree of recurrence risk. Previous treatment methods include imiquimod 5% cream, electrocoagulation, podophyllotoxin, and excision. However, some women do not respond to these treatments. For this reason, laser treatment may be more beneficial than other treatments. But it is important to note that the effectiveness of laser treatment depends on its patient's individual circumstances and symptomatology.

Podophyllotoxin

Podophyllotoxin is a topical ointment that is applied to the genitals to treat genital warts. This ointment is applied to the entire surface of the wart, and is usually left on for two minutes. The lesions should be thoroughly washed after treatment. The podophyllotoxin solution is usually applied with a cotton swab or special plastic applicator. After applying the solution, the patient must wait about eight to twelve hours before touching the area again.

During the application of podophyllotoxin, it is important to read the manufacturer's leaflet or doctor's instructions before applying it to the warts. The leaflet contains information on the medication and its side effects. The most common side effects are slight discomfort and tenderness, burning, and nausea. In rare cases, severe reactions have occurred. Podophyllotoxin is not recommended for use in children.

Topical interferon

One of the most important aspects of genital warts treatment is the use of topical interferon. It is the most effective treatment for genital warts, and it also has a low risk of causing relapse. However, it is important to note that this treatment will not be effective if your immune system is suppressed. Patients who have suppressed immune cells may have a poorer response to the treatment and may even develop dysplasia.

In the trial, women with a history of genital warts were given 6 g of topical interferon cream three times a week. It was supposed to be applied to the warts for 16 weeks. They were evaluated weekly. If there were no more warts, the treatment was considered successful and they were spared from further treatment. Patients who had a relapse were asked to go back after 16 weeks to be treated again.

Surgery

Laser surgery is an option for removing genital warts. This procedure is expensive and requires specialized equipment. It is also a last resort and may not be successful in removing all warts in one go. The patient should discuss the risks and benefits with their doctor before choosing this option. This surgical procedure is also more expensive than other treatments. Nevertheless, it is still the best option for severe warts.

After surgery, patients can resume normal activities in two to four weeks. The recovery time depends on the size and location of the warts. If the warts cover a large area, healing will be more difficult and take longer. Patients may be prescribed antibiotics to reduce the risk of infection and may also need pain medication for a couple of days after the procedure. After surgery, patients should avoid sexual activities until the area is fully healed.
