“Dieting is the practice of eating food in a balanced manner to decrease or increase body weight. Losing or increasing such weights is to stay fit, or treat various diseases related to weight.” 

 

Dieting is highly recommended to people who are having problems with their weight (or in diseases like diabetes or obesity. Dieting solely depends upon a person’s calorie intake and the ability to burn it. Also, dieting also depends on resistance and a person’s body type. There are various types of dieting that people try to maintain their body weight. Some of them are:

 

Low-Fat Diet

 

As the name suggests, it is the type of diet where a person intakes a low amount of fat in their diet. Less fat in the body is directly proportional to one’s calorie consumption. This type of diet controls weight, blood sugar levels and cardiovascular health

Fasting

 

Fasting is a type of dieting technique where you have a long interval of time between meals. . However, this type of dieting is usually not recommended.
