Grace Lee Boggs: One of the great philosophers and political visionaries of our time. Boggs has been a part of almost every major movement in the United States over the last 75 years; she's 96, intellectually ageless and still going strong.
joined by:
Nelson Johnson: Executive Director of the Beloved Community Center of Greensboro, North Carolina and a leader of the Greensboro Truth & Community Reconciliation Project, the first of its kind in the US.
&
Andrea Smith: Longtime anti-violence and Native American activist and scholar, Smith is a proponent and innovator of new political practices. She currently teaches in media and cultural studies at UC, Riverside.

La necessidad de una sociedad equilibrada, justa, verdaderamente democrática, donde los hombres y las mujeres puedan ser lo que son, emancipados y emancipadas de las amarras sin sentido.
8 de marzo de 2012: Luna llena
La sensibilidad aguda, el femenino pulsando en cada una y cada uno de nosotros.
Que este día de las mujeres y de luna llena, nos ayude a despertar el femenino en nosotros, hombres o mujeres, y a dejarlo expresarse livremente.
A danzarmos alrededor de fogatas en la noche, cultivando la paz, cuidando de la vida, humana o no.
A vivermos la conexión con el flujo de la vida, entre nosotros, entre los pueblos, entre hombres y mujeres.
No más violencia contra las mujeres!
Saludo al femenino en nosotros, y todas las mujeres que nos hacen crecer tanto todos los días!
¡Buenos días! Vamos a vivir hoy la luna llena en homenaje a las luchas por los derechos de las mujeres...
...pero durante el día, antes de la luna nacer, vamos a apoyar y participar en las marchas y manifestaciones que ocurren en nuestras ciudades!

A necessidade de uma sociedade equilibrada, justa, verdadeiramente democrática, em que mulheres e homens possam ser o que são, emancipadas e emancipados de amarras sem sentido.
8 de março de 2012: Lua cheia
A sensibilidade à flor da pele, o feminino pulsando em cada uma e cada um de nós.
Que este dia das mulheres e de lua cheia nos ajude a despertar o feminino em nós, homens ou mulheres, e deixá-lo expressar-se livremente.
A dançarmos em volta de fogueiras noturnas, cultivando a paz, cuidando da vida, humana ou não.
A vivermos a conexão com o fluxo da vida, entre nós, entre povos, entre homens e mulheres.
Chega de violência contra as mulheres!
Saúdo o feminino que existe em nós, e a todas as mulheres que nos fazem crescer tanto a cada dia!
Bom dia! Vamos viver hoje a lua cheia em homenagem às lutas pelos direitos das mulheres...
...mas durante o dia, antes da lua nascer, apoiemos as jornada de lutas e manifestações que ocorrerão em nossos municípios!
