If your dishwasher repair isn't filling up, it may be due to a valve or heating element issue. To repair this, open the dishwasher door and remove the bottom dish rack. To test this device, you can use a VOM set to the RX1 scale. Simply clip the probes onto the switch terminals. If they read zero, the switch isn't faulty, but if they read higher, it needs replacing. If these steps don't work, call a service professional to check the float switch. If the float switch is not moving freely, then it's likely to be defective.
