Rice is a common ingredient that is mainly used to prepare various types of traditional food in Bihu. Here are some of the lip-smacking delicacies that one must-have during the occasion of Bihu:

1. Til Pitha: One can never deny the special taste of Til Pitha which is made with the help of rice flour and black sesame. This is formed of cylindrical shape and needs a lot of effort to prepare. Rice needs to be soaked, strained and dried finely for more than 2 hours and then roasted black sesame is put inside the shape of roti made from grinded rice.
 
2. Narikol Pitha: This delicacy is prepared just like the Til Pitha with the same shape of the cylinder only the ingredient inside changes as grated coconut is used in place of the black sesame. It is a favorite snake item for those two who love the sweet taste of coconut.
